Intercultural seminars
The Intercultural Seminar aims at creating a forum where students and faculty can develop a critical and reflective perspective about the contents and comparative aspects of the Master, the different cultures represented, and all of the diverse experiences of the students, interests and projects related to peace. The seminar is open to all students of the University and to the public of Castellón in general, because this allows the public to be aware of the concerns of those involved in the Master, and includes them within the responsibility of creating a Culture of Peace and for Peace. The Seminar has two-fold dynamics. On the one hand there will be student presentations. Every session, a group of students presents a topic to the rest of the students. The topic has to be selected by each group in relation to their experiences for example, in humanitarian assistance, peace projects or conflict resolution. The presentation has to take in account that the discussion with the rest of the group is central and therefore they have to reserve a stipulated time for the question-answer session. On the other hand, the invited professors will give conferences and workshops. All Intercultural Seminar will be held on Wednesdays from 16 to 18 hours, in the meeting room of the Postgraduate Building of the Universitat Jaume I,- for this activity simultaneous translation is provided- (Any changes regarding the above information would be announced ahead of time).
