In 2008 starts our Internship Program as one of the initiatives of the International Master in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies. It is a Professional Internship that can take place in research centers, NGO's and other kind of institutions. Its aim is to allow our students to achieve professional experience in the fields of Peace, Conflict and Development in Spain and in other countries around the world participating in this project.

As part of the regulation for the education of our student body, this has been the first time that we have offered two options in order to obtain an official degree. The first would be the traditional academic line, with the submission of a thesis and its public defense about one of the subjects studied during the program; the latter would be the professional line which started this year and has allowed some of our students to make an internship and the posterior public defense of a Professional Project.

Therefore, the master accomplishes a double objective: On the one hand we prepare future faculty and peace researchers, an on the other we train professionals in a wide range of contexts and cultures depending on the current needs in the fields of Peace, Conflict and Development.
